Zion Radicaster, Kirby Velarde Signature Series in Root Beer Burst

This Radicaster model is built for Denver-based artist, Kirby Velarde. You can meet Kirby at our Artists page. He’s an extremely talented musician with whom we are very proud to be associated.

The Velarde Rad is made from a single billet of premium swampash, which is split up the middle and laminated with center strips of mahogany and figured maple. The fingerboard is curly (flame) maple and sports our Zion Dove Inlay. The pickguard is acrylic, painted on the underside in Root Beer Frosted Marble. Each pickguard is unique.

The pickups are DiMarzio S/S/H (Virtual Heavy Blues N/M with a Breed in the bridge position). Wiring is with a 5-Way switch and Master Volume & Tone. There is a push-pull switch on the Tone pot that splits the bridge humbucker.

This is a very versatile instrument and will be at home playing virtually any musical style. Plus, it’s a fabulous deal. Not sure how he talked me into it, but the price on this guitar is fully $905 under List. The first batch of 5 are built and 4 are sold. Only one left, so get it while you can…
